our story
begins before
storm walkers
had a name.
For most of our 17 years of marriage, life asked us questions we never imagined we would have to answer. We struggled to conceive our son. And after finally welcoming him into the world, we experienced the unimaginable loss of losing him just two years later.
Then came more loss. Parents. Family members. Close friends. The isolation and heartbreak of COVID. Grief became more than an emotion; it became an environment we had to learn how to live inside of together.

And just when we thought we had already survived the hardest chapters, another storm arrived. Chronic heart failure. kidney disease, dialysis, caregiving, exhaustion, fear, uncertainty, and eventually, a transplant. Life was changing for both of us at the same time. We learned something many couples discover silently during crisis: when grief, illness, trauma, and survival enter a relationship, you stop asking, “How are we doing?” and start asking, “Who are we now?” Because storms do not just disrupt your circumstances.
They disrupt your identity: Individually, Relationally, Emotionally, Spiritually.

There were moments we barely recognized ourselves or each other underneath the weight of everything we were carrying. But somewhere in the middle of the pain, we realized something important—the goal is not to avoid storms. The goal is to learn how to walk through them without losing yourself or the people you love.
That realization became Storm Walkers.
We didn’t create this work from theory. We built it while living through grief, caregiving, reinvention, healing, and rebuilding in real time. We know what it feels like to fight for connection while both people are changing underneath the pressure of life.
Today, we help couples navigate life transitions, identity disruption, grief, health crises, and major life changes with honesty, resilience, and deeper connection. Because storms change people. They do not have to destroy them.

WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Storms don't only disrupt our circumstances. They disrupt our identity and relationship so much that there were moments we barely recognized ourselves or each other. Under the weight of everything we were carrying, we learned that the goal is not to. avoid the storms.
The goal is to walk through them without losing yourself with the people you love.

no silver lining
shortcuts
01
this endurance doesn't make the storm good
Purpose doesn't make loss worth it. We can honor what pain taught us without pretending we would have chosen it.
02
honesty leads to hope
Real navigation begins with acknowledging the truth about what happened, where you are, what changed, and discovering what remains yours to choose.
03
connection must be protected on purpose
Love can be real while friendship , trust, intimacy, or teamwork erode. What matters deservs deliberate attention.
04
i am not your enemy!
Come hell or high water, it's me & you against the world; not against eachother. Our circumstances might be different no, but we're still in this together.
different strengths. shared work.
